Most people choose the wrong thing first — they pick a "type" of safari before working out whether their timeframe can actually support it. Duration decides how far you can range and how many game drives you get; style decides who you're travelling with and how much privacy and comfort you want along the way. Pick a duration below, then check whether one of the style pages fits on top of it — a 5-day trip can be luxury, private, or a honeymoon; a 2-day trip is honest about being none of those at a relaxed pace.

Four questions worth answering before you compare quotes
These are the factors that actually change which itinerary and style make sense for you.
- How many days can you realistically spend? Two days is workable but tight; three is the most common comfortable minimum; four or five gives you a genuine buffer against weather and travel delays.
