Day by day
Day 1
Nairobi to the Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi around 6:00–6:30am, driving roughly five to six hours to the Mara with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrive at camp for lunch, then an afternoon game drive from around 4:00pm until sunset. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 2
First Full Day in the Reserve
An early-morning game drive at first light, a picnic lunch in the bush or a return to camp through the midday heat, then a second drive into late afternoon. This is typically the most active day for wildlife sightings.
Day 3
Second Full Day, at a Slower Pace
A relaxed morning game drive followed by a proper rest at camp through the heat of the day — or, if you'd prefer, an optional cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village. The afternoon brings a second drive, often exploring a different part of the reserve than day two.
Day 4
Final Game Drive & Return to Nairobi
A last early-morning drive, breakfast back at camp, then check-out and the drive back to Nairobi, arriving by early evening.
