Privacy Notice

The short version
This site exists to help you plan a safari and then start a WhatsApp conversation with our team. We collect as little as possible to make that work, we don't sell data, and nothing you type into the planning tool is sent anywhere until you choose to send it yourself.
What we collect
Planner details. The "Plan My Safari" tool asks for things like your travel month, group size and accommodation preference. These values stay in your browser and are only used to build the WhatsApp message you explicitly choose to send. We do not transmit planner field values to analytics or store them on a server.
Analytics. We use basic, privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages are useful and whether the planning tool is working — for example, that a planner was opened, or that a step was completed. These events carry categorical information only (page type, safari duration, safari style) and never your personal answers. Analytics is designed to fail silently: if it's blocked, the site keeps working exactly the same.
WhatsApp handoff. When you choose "Continue on WhatsApp," your device opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message addressed to the Roar Safaris operating team. From that point, your conversation is governed by WhatsApp's terms and by Roar Safaris' handling of your enquiry.
What we don't do
- We don't require an account, email address or phone number just to browse or plan.
- We don't build a database of leads independent of the WhatsApp conversation you choose to start.
- We don't sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site may use minimal, non-intrusive technologies to support analytics as described above. Where a technology isn't strictly necessary for the site to function, we'll seek consent as required by applicable law before it's active.

Some pages link to external resources for context. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of sites we don't operate, including WhatsApp itself.
